Re: It may not work that way Don ...

You are correct Archie, that is the correct way to get a reserved table of ten. But also in the past the SS Club had one person that gathered the funds and send it in to CCGTCC for silver strikers. This was done in the past Christie Gregory and last year by Doug Conley. As for last years seating, I was on Doug’s list early on to sit with strikers and when I got to the banquet I was not with strikers and was placed at a table with chippers. I did go to Wayne and complain and wanted to know why I was not seated with Strikers. Wayne said we did not have enough people to fill up an entire table so we were seated where seating was available. Being the President of the SS Club you would think that they would have made sure I was at one of the tables we had reserved for strikers and there were several of them. I not caring a thing about chips and only collecting strikes I wanted to sit with fellow Silver Strikers. But such was not the case. This year the SS Club Board decided not to make the reservations for the membership. So I am trying informally to see if we can get a group of SS seated together. Several years ago several strikers had paid directly for their seats and when we found out we got there names and were able to get them grouped together. We filled up an additional table with all SS by doing this. This is what I am attempting to do if I can get a list together soon enough and get it sent in before the seating is assigned. Of course this requires the CCGTCC folks assistance in grouping us together.
