Dennis, check your info before you open your mouth. This strike NEVER, and I mean the whole first series from the Hard Rock had no metal purity stamped anywhere on the strikes. The designs were approved by the Gaming Board without any statement or marking regarding the metal content or purity. The law regarding the .999 on the brass ring was created because it was misleading and the brass contained no silver. I believe that if someone checked they will find that strikes are not required to have .999 stamped anywhere, only if so marked they must be on the silver. The label or markings stating that it is .999 silver is a great selling point to the public in general.
