Artichoke Joe's is a card room that has been around since the 1920s. Mostly poker and pai gow. A lot of Chinese people play there and they have a restaurant that serves Chinese food. Every year at Chinese New Year's, they give out the next "Year of the XXX" token (just like $10 silver strikes, but I'm not sure if they are .999, though it looks like it) to anyone playing there to thank them for their patronage. There are a very limited number, and they go quickly. The astrology design is similar to the ones from the Colorado casinos. They are rarely seen at auction because the players usually get only one and keep them.

I believe they also used to have the $7 strike style before moving to the bi-metal one.
