From what I've experienced, it all depends on what the machine wants to give you. I was at LVC going for the Eagle $200 and was averaging about $30 a strike. I change machines and won 6 with $25. At the Palms, Ive burned through $130 in credits with nothing, but then won 3 strikes in 4 spins. I have swore off the 3 reel machines.... $170, 3 casinos, 1 strike.
