To all who might know,
What is the legality of owning a slot machine in your home? I have seen auctions on eBay for machines that the seller would not send to certian states for legal reasons, but my state, California, was not on the list so I assume its legal. But everyone I saw were being sold with those goofy tokens, and wheres the fun in that? I'm not even asking for me, this is for my Grandmother that has always wanted to own one, and unless she planning on opening an after hours gambling club or a speakeasy, its only for her own amusment. I was going to take her over to the Casinorama this weekend and have a look around for one, but how hard is it to change a slot set for tokens back to accepting quaters? If this is, in fact, HIGHLY illegal, I'm only ASKING and have no plans on actually doing it..... You can email me directly if you want.
