Hi All,
Not to long ago eather Strickly Slots or Casino Player(I forget which 1 or which issue). Had a article in it, telling about this. 1 Master computer setting all of the slot and video poker machines games to be played in a casino. Kinda like the high dollar progressives. All have the same going "up" dollar amount. But, this computer has NOTHING to do with which slot machine pays out.
Supposedly, the casino will have to abide by gaming commision regulations. And cannot change the pay out percentages. Already placed in the chip for the game being played. By IGT at the factory. The casino can ONLY change the GAME that is to be played on the machine. BEFORE the game is starting to be played. All of the "bugs" have not been worked out. Or all of the information given out yet. Time, players, and the different gaming commisions country wide. Will see how this system works out.
There is some of this already, but on a 1 machine at a time limited scale. Example: In Video Poker there are many machines that let you pick which game to play. AND/OR slots that lets player decide what money demonation do they want to play. 1 or 2 cent or 5 cent or 25/50 cent, etc.
This is just a big expansion of this idea.
This is said to be the WAVE OF THE FUTURE. You can look for more and more casino's to do this. Like it or not, it's coming.
As far the indian casinos, the time is coming when. They will lose at least some of their privilaged (sovereign statis)information statis. More and more complaints are coming in to the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Congress. Already regulations are being put in place. To limit OFF RESERVATION casino placement. And you can just about bet more regulations are coming. 1 good example is the several tribes that gave millions of $$$$$$$$ to those men for favors. Hopefully in congress, and they mostly pocketed the money. 1 of these tribe casinos -- Coushatta Casino Resort --
(used to be Grand Casino Coushatta) is just about 40 miles from my house. This is the largest single casino in Louisiana. Was 1 of the indian casino's involved.
If you have a complaint or see something. File a complaint to the proper people. Gaming commision, state police, Bureau of Indian Affairs, your congress person. Not just here on strike point. Now donot ask me how to do this, because I am not sure how to do this myself. But, IF I HAD a complaint, I would find out the needed information to follow up on it. Like I did when I had a complaint pretaining to 2 of the Tunica, Mississippi casinos and silver strikes several years ago.
