Kevin - The color of the case or the fact they aren't using blue caps at the prersent will have no affect on the price of the strike that came in a blue case or any color case.
Many collectors including me have taken the strike out of the original case and put it in an airtite, the saying on the board sometime back is do you collect the case or the strike.
