Skip, they are actually "Gaming Tokens" which us collectors refer to as "Silver Strikes". You can see TWO HUNDRED DOLLAR GAMING TOKEN on each strike and the casino must accept them for gaming purposes. I see bettors using them all the time on table games. Most casinos will tell you that you must take it to the cashier cage and cash it in which is foolish on their part as there is little chance of the owner losing the $200 once cashed in at the cage. I once went to the the blackjack table with a $10 gaming token at the Palms and the dealer said that I couldn't use it to gamble with and then he asked the floorperson if it played. The floorperson answered the dealer, "It says Palms on it doesn't it" and it played. It is kind of strange to me that the dealer has a rack with ONE DOLLAR GAMING TOKENS in it and they refuse a TEN DOLLAR GAMING TOKEN from the same casino because they are not familiar with it. Yet similarly if you took an uncommon $10 commemorative chip to a table game and tried to play it they would take it without a problem.
