There are very few strike collectors in my opinion who can afford to lay out that kind of money for a strike ... especially for one whose total mintage is suspect.

Secondly; once someone who CAN afford the numbers being asked for this particular strike has obtained one for their collection ... they are no longer in the bidding process competing for another one.
