In looking through eBay the last couple of days I find several sellers listing not only in the strike section but in the bullion, silver and mixed lots sections selling silver strikes claiming these coins are a great investment because of the Gold and Silver content, most are claiming there is 1 OZ or more of pure .999 silver why a couple claim not only a high silver content but a gold content as well. I guess with the bullion market continuing to rise we will see more of this. It is a buyer beware time. The sad part of the matter is a few of the sellers are coin dealers who should know the difference between brass and gold, on the other side maybe they bought the strikes paying low silver prices for the total weight figuring to make a fast buck and will be out a few bucks for not knowing any thing about strikes.
