Dick,
Try this: take a common silver strike, place it
in EZ-est cleaner over night. take it out and
wha la - it is a "Pewter" strike "ring".
I had a really dirty strike and I thought I would
let it set over night to clean. But it turned out
like that. try it and let me know if it worked for you.
