I agree with Lee & Laura. I the amount is not the problem here. Any knowledgeable strike strike collector. Would know the price is outrages.
Its the statement about "can only be gotten on opening day". To me is the problem. And he still sticks to it, even when informed other wise.
Also, anytime I send a person a e-mail. In the spirit of being informative and helpful. And I get back some type of harsh or vulger reply. This makes ME NOT WANT to have anything to do with this person.
So, Kevin, this seller BROUGHT ON HIMSELF. Alot of this harsh criticism. You state maybe the strike is something special to him. Maybe so, but at that price. He will get to keep it all to himself. I donot think it is THAT SPECIAL to anyone else.
He states that "donot insult him with lower bids". Well, even if I needed this Stratosphere strike. I would not INSULT him with a bid of ANY KIND.
