WWW.cheapovegas.com is the best for describing the hotels in vegas. The Nugget is by far the classiest of downtown. I have stayed there my last 4 trips to vegas. I always have many free room offers to choose from, fortunantly the nugget has always been one of them. I usually split my trip up and stay 2 nights on the strip and then go downtown for the other 3 nights. The free room I had at Caesars last time was exceptional. I must have overspent there when we went to the Elton John concert last year because the comped room was a suite with hot tub and all. Always request the North Tower at The Nugget.
