I stand corrected...you still have to win the 20 to get it. My main point stays the same: If there is a going to be a reservation list for these, theres no point in going to the casino to win one if theres not going to be a coin available. There was obviously enough people that had advanced information that they needed to get on a list for these that they were spoken for before they hit the cage, and the option of winning one was taken away from all but a select few. I'm not looking to rock the boat and cause a problem for the casinos or to collectors. If this is the casinos policy, than so be it. I would LIKE to collect these, but I dont Need them. I was thinking about driving up to Bills to win one, but now that theres no $200's, I'm not going.
And when I said I'm new to collecting, I'm compairing that to most of you as far as time and money invested and the amount of strikes I have in my collection. I only have about 400 different $10 strikes and 4 $200's, which is a lot but no where near most of you. I am a member of CC-GTCC and Silver Strikers and was at the tournament in January. By the way, I do have an extra tournament coin if someone wants to make a good trade offer.
Again, no disrespect meant to any of you that were on the list. I didnt mean this as a target to any of you. I've talked to a lot of you, purchased from you, traded with you and its been a tremendous amount of fun (except for samsportscards). I sometimes get the feeling that I came in at the end of strike collecting and I'm thrilled when casinos put out new strikes. I was just looking for clearification and knowledge on policy.
