What a bunch of crap!!! I'm doing the electrical work in a friends house and he wrote me a check last month. I took it to his back to cash it and they wouldnt cash it because his signature was "slightly different" than the one on his card with the bank. I had to call him, have him call the bank and talk to the teller befor they would do it. But the bank in R.I. doesnt even require someone to endorse a check??? You shouldnt have to contact your bank because they shouldnt have honored the deposit!!! Why cant they call him in to sign it???
