IT IS NOT AT ALL UNREASONABLE TO SEE HOW THIS KIND OF SCAM CAN BE MANAGED. It is possible that 'Sam' was a renter in the home and picked up the mail every day as a good deed. The lady may never have seen any of the checks. Could this be the same 'Sam' who pulled this scam from England? Ebay is an easy target for this kind of scam because they do not have enough checks and balances in the system. I'm not sure that is even possible.
