Emotionally, I feel the same way. But conceptually, isn't this the same as collecting or selling a strike from a closed casino (or from one of the casinos that has changed owners)? You can't redeem a Desert Inn strike, yet I don't see those selling at less than face. And sellers don't usually point out that those are no longer redeemable. Perhaps the fact that it ONCE was redeemable makes the difference?

Anyway, I still think it's bad...like Monopoly money. Actually, there's more sense to Monopoly money have a value on it. Printing a dollar value on a non-redeemable strike seems misleading at best....
