I agree Sherry, it amazed me that the casino was kept open. ALthough I'm sure the police figured there was no way the gunman was getting out of the 20th story window (unless he was Spiderman), and I'm sure they had the hallways and stairwells closed off. STILL....this morning, the Salt Lake City, Utah TV channel showed the poor displaced people sitting up against walls by the giftshop, etc while gamblers walked past them with buckets of change, etc. I sure hope Harrah's had the good sense to comp their rooms, etc.
I would have been lucky though if it had happened while I was in Vegas - I'm NEVER in my room at midnight!
Why do I have a funny feeling when I go to Vegas in a few weeks, I'll probably see T-shirts that have "I survived the 20th floor" on them for sale...eeewwww!
