Am I correct in assuming that when a seller of Silver Strikes, whether it is a $7, $10, $20, $28, $40 or a $200 Strike that uses Paypal as a means of payment, that the PayPal charges are either built into the shipping charges or in the price of the strike that is sold? My understanding is that they are, which leads me to this question, if I purchase an Item and I do not use PayPal as the form of payment and I pay with a Bank or Postal Money Order then why aren't the PayPal charges deducted from my total? I notice that after you purchase an Item on Ebay, when you "Checkout" or "Pay Now", there is a place in the calculations section that states "Sellers Discount", but there is never any amount placed in that area, and again my understanding is that is what that is there for!!! The only seller of all of the Silver Strikes that I have purchased from that was honest enough to tell you right up front,"I do not use PayPal because it is not fair to pass their charges onto you" was Neil "Skip" Clarke. So if the charges are built into the shipping or selling price, than why aren't more sellers deducting those PayPal charges from the final totals?? I don't know what the PayPal charges are, but when you look at the prices that some of the $10's & $200 Strikes are selling for, the PayPal fees can get pretty expensive. I want to bring this to the BB for other opinions, for or against what I have stated! Again, this is what was stated to me from two other sellers that I have purchased from stating, since you are not using PayPal, here is your discounted total.
