I believe there is a fine line here. They are different from the Sid's, I would think, because technically if one didn't play the slot machines in the tournament or the jackpot ones at O'Shea's, that person couldn't "win" one. It's something like the hand-paid $200's.
They aren't something you could just go out and buy like a souvenir.
I, for one, never did like the way the Sid's were handled, but I do think the tournament and O'Sheas strikes are at least a very close cousin of the regular strikes. After all, practically everything written on those strikes makes them look just like any other.
