Kirk. I'm sure you can find a way to write up a concise explination of Why the auction item isn't what was as advertised. Provide a nice simple picture of what it's was supposed to be and what you got.

Take it to a friend, or a coin dealer, explain what the issue is... have them sign it.

The important part for Paypal is an independent third party confirmation. So you'll need the name and address of your Third Party.

I had this happen with a used laptop where it was all screwed up, didn't have the promised OS or memory, wrong size, all sorts of issues. I had a friend review the information, look at the computer and sign with his Name, address and phone number. Easy... returned the item, UPS with conformation, I got a refund.

Hard part? The guy who sold it to me, cleaned out his Paypal account, so they could only give back half the money. He has the computer, and half of my money.

JERK! sad
