Tom, you heard correctly. The Vegas Club 2005 token, as handed out, was all silver no gold. Following the tournament some of the folks thought it would look better with gold. The idea was passed around, some said yes and some said no. A total of 39 tokens were sent back to the mint, which produced them, for gold plating. I think they look a lot better with the gold and I also think that is why this years tokens have gold on them. Now you know the rest of the story.
