The current bus route on the Strip does not go to the Southcoast. They are talking about changing that but not until their next update. I believe that is in March.

The South Coast is about 4 miles south of Mandelay Bay.

If you go to the Barbary Coast they do have a shuttle bus that goes to the South Coast. Some say it is for the hotel guests only but I know that others have got on it also.
