Since Pam has written my article I will add that we were up 35% in attendance from last year and perhaps we can double it next year. Also I would mention that this is not an official Silver Strikers sponsered event and althought the Vegas Club sponsers the tournament we might want to think about having this be an official SS event so any business the club officers would like to discuss can be in the form of a meeting at the trading session. Once again, this is the best trading session any silver striker could hope for. One full room of nothing but strikers and great deals for everyone. Sorry, Bill, you did not win anything, I was one of the lucky ones, but the winnings do not last long. Hats off to Sue Cohenour who threw away 5 of a kind to hit her four deuces....there was some yelling going on after that hit and Carol's Corner was as active as ever. A great place to just go hang out with club members. I know at least 4 Progressive Royals were hit on that small bank of machines (Carol Heinz, herself, Ralph and Donna Bjornson both hit and both in diamonds and Lloyd Malani) not to mention the four deuces which were abundant. The Vegas Club kept a slot attendant in the area just to pay us off and her usual comment was "not you guys again."
