Hi Walt, The reason they are'nt going to "cook" the metered mail is because everybody that "meters" has an account with the Post Office which makes it easier to trace "bad" metered mail "most" of the time! At any rate, one "smart" way to make the P.O. pay would be to insure every single strike for $100 just in case it gets "cooked"! I'm sure those P.O. supervisors would make "changes" real quick in order to insure those Christmas bonuses keep coming their way!..................Dick Maheu in New Mexico (Retired Postal System Slave)
