I don't know if the striking of commemorative tokens falls under the same gaming reg's as chips do in Las Vegas; but it is my understanding that Gaming Control Board will not sign off on a chip to be issued that "promotes collecting" or collecting organizations.

No more CC & GTCC references; no more LTD numbers or Limited Edition indications on chips are permitted in Las Vegas. May be the reason why "Silver Strikers Club" is not appearing on silver strikes issued by the host casino ... but the host casino can put their non-collecting tournament message on the tokens.
