Robert - I also saw the article in Coin World but also saw another article saying that this was only done for mail that was being held that had come through certain post offices, the rest of the article I read said in the future if the package or envelope had metered postage which only the post offices attach that type of mail wouldn't go through the cooking machine, they figure if a postal clerk handles it it is going to be safe ( thats what they said not me )since all letters that contained the bad stuff had regular stamps attached. Only time will tell but so far the only mail thats been cooked is what was being held due to the possibilty of bad stuff being contained within.
