There may be future problems for strike collectors sending and receiving strikes through the USPS due to mail irradiation. Some slabbed silver coins sent through the Hamilton Township, NJ were irradiated for anthrax and were received heavily toned and the plastic melted to one of the coins. These problems may have only been caused because of the coins close proximity to plastic but who doesn't send strikes in capsules?
