Chuck, I no longer think it is from dropping them. I think more likely when they put the plastic in the case or when they put the strike in the case they split. It doesn't really matter how though, they are still broken. I sent emails out to the buyers who I still owe a $200 and none of them wanted one with a broken holder. They all said they would wait.

I also believe that most collectors buy them mainly because they want one for their collection and may not like the cosmetics but they must fill that empty spot. Although some collectors claim they will not buy RWM strikes anymore I would bet that almost every colletor who bought the Palms $200 also bought the South Coast $200.
