Skip, I always get my post office to pay on lost items...maybe because I am in small town USA....so a small post office knows me and I never have any problems getting refunds on items lost....as I said before, I take the guide books with me to show the value of the items bought and they make a copy of it and pay me....it is not hard to do...nor a hassle as some say...many of my fellow club members know I have done this for them when they have paid for insured items and I get the refund for them....so???? what's the big hassle people speak of...I have none ever!!!!
