Walt; I didn't state anything ... I merely posted an email comment that a friend had sent to me that was thought provoking.... in that perhaps the manufacturers are not making as much on their product as some may think and are looking for alternate ways to reduce cost.

As for a boycott by strike collectors over the coloration issue possibly leading to $200 strikes going away entirely ... I tend to agree with you.
