Yes, Harrah's did offer transfers to their hurricane employees. The one's getting layed off are the ones that did not transfer. Harrah's also payed all the hurricane affected employees, full pay till last Nov 29. Harrah's also (as I understand it)has said that it will carry the benefits, till Dec 31. For the one's that are unemployed at present.
I think the casino industry as a whole. Has treated their employees that was affected by the hurricanes, well and right. Especially, the larger casino companies. Some of the smaller or smallest casino companies didn't or wasn't able too.
