James, I was not asking for a case where shill bidding was used as a tool. I was asking for a law prohibiting shill bidding. That should be easy to find if there is one.

Ebay and Jackpot Auctions do not allow shill bidding but I certainly haven't been able to locate any laws saying it is illegal.
