While I suggested the plastic tackle boxes. I prefer to keep the strikes in my collection. The ones that are not traders, in 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" coin envelopes. They will hold from 1 to 8 strikes. I use a larger envelope for more than this number. All pretaining information to a strike(s). Is written on this envelope. This makes it easy to find something.
I have found the envelopes to hold up fairly well. Mainly, I guess; because you donot have to handle each 1 a lot.
For the trader strikes. I keep them in the factory racks. In alphbetical order by casino. Sometimes I carry trader strikes in these racks. And sometimes I bring trader strikes in purple crown royal whiskey bags. I got them when 1 of the local casino's was throwing them away. They are surprisingly strong. Will hold a lot of strikes.
Each person has to find what works for that person best. The above works best for me.
