I'm also taking my metal detectors and try a bit of treasure hunting.
Anyone know of any ghost towns in the area or likely hunting places?
Since this is the Silver Strikers board, I will also play for a few strikes in Mesquite to appease the hard core members.
An aside: I was at the Palms yesterday and was surprised to see that there were no strikers in line to get the new Halloween strikes on their first day of issue. I don't mean that strikers weren't already on the machines and stacking them up. Just no line. I only heard from one person that the machines were tight. From another that the mix omitted one of the set - a chaser in progress?
