Archie - I never said I thought the club bank account should be ZERO, what I was pointing out was their is a large balance in the bank and the news letter survey was asking what the members thought about raising dues to keep up with the costs of the news letter, cutting back on the number of issues or the third choice was OTHER, I was stating a point under the OTHER section, use some of the cash on hand to keep the news letter as it has been since this is the one item all club members benift from. I also asked what plans the officers had for the other club funds know on hand and future funds, this question was never answered and more than likely never will be, I think it has to be a big secret, myself I just want the news letter to continue,myself I prefer the mailed issue, if others want the email version so be it.
