John - First it seems you have a problem with my stating my opinion, second I don't belive anything I said in my post was untrue or misguided I asked a question about what the club plans to do with the club funds that will benifit all members and even though alot of folks were talking about the things they wanted to do for the members sometime ago no ideas have been mentioned to the members. I still belive the ONE thing that benifits all members is the news letter and my hat goes off to those who put it together and Jack Haddock will be missed and should be given an award for his past time and effort. Another thing in the last news letter there was a club survey and item #2 was all about the news letter and what to do about the costs, A slight increase in dues,B- fewer issues, and C- other, I belive my posts fall under C. I mailed the survey back with my ideas and posted them here and it was as I said spend some of the club saving if thats what it comes to to continue the news letter as it is.
And third, if somebody wants to step foward and take over taking my 7 year old grandson who is recovering from open heart surgery back and forth to the doctors and hospital maybe I would find the time to get involved with the news letter, whant to step up and trade places John.
