John - not sure how the post office handles the delivery time the way you are sending it but if it is like the book rate it might take 3 weeks or so to get delivered, as for the email version of the news letter, this might work for alot of members but with my old computer and dial up service it takes about the same amount of time to try and download a PDF file as it takes the post office to deliver.
Since I won't be changing my computer or going to a DSL line I will stick with the mailed copy and since you say it costs the club $1 per member per issue my club dues more than cover the cost of the news letter.
