Does this also apply to cleaning the rim when it is toned ? I have a jar of cleaner (pink) from the Jewler to clean rings and silver/gold that I dipped one strike in that returned shine to silver strike that was in a case (old) that has the cutout to open (not airtight) and just patted with paper towell. Will it eventually tirn grey ?
