Hi Mike,
PLEASE... do NOT attempt to clean the silver.
It hasn't tarnished; it has toned.
The silver is .999 pure, and SILVER may, or may not, tone.
If you TRY to clean it, the brass will get destroyed if it drips or leaks.
Remember... sterling silver (.925) tarnishes;
fine silver (.999) tones.
You CANNOT use a sterling silver tarnish cleaner on pure silver.
You will destroy it. Down the road it could turn battleship gray, and by then, you will have lost all its value.
Unless you are a professional, don't even attempt it. Remember... even a professional can destroy the strike.
