I know nothing abut the Ellis island strike machine, at the present time.
But, the shuttle from the Tropicana to the Silverton was still running when I was there for the convention. You can also take a city bus to the Silverton. From the southern bus center that is a little off of Las Vegas Blvd.
There is a shuttle bus that goes to Sam's Town from the Tropicana. Also can catch it at Harrahs or Stardust on the strip. And at the California and Fremont downtown.
There is a shuttle from the Barbary Coast to the Gold Coast. From here a shuttle goes to the Orleans.
Another 1 that goes from Harrah's to the Rio.
