I have recently become interested in Silver Strikes. My brother and I have been playing for Strikes for several years in our nearly annual (sometimes more) treks to Las Vegas (him more than me but I got a few). We had no idea that there was an active group of collectors. We didn’t even know what they were called; we considered them as silver bars or tokens. We kept a few that had interest to us. However, this spring several locals engaged us in conversation, informed us about Strikes and made us aware of this group. I’m joining (mailed my check this morning).

I am looking for a number of Strikes but, unfortunately, at this point don’t really have any traders. However, if you have some that I’m looking for that you would sell, please contact me, let me know what you have, and what you need for them and we’ll see if we can work a deal.

I’m not very sophisticated in what I collect yet but have some things I’d like to have. I’ve gone through the On-Line Catalog and identified some particular ones or styles I’d like. In some cases I don’t necessarily have a specific preference but would like one from a particular casino. If I can look what you have up on the on-line catalog, I can decide if I like it or not. I don’t know a great deal about value yet, but I’m learning. I have acquired a copy of William Cohenour’s book.

Boulder Station – I’m not particular except that I don’t want one with other Station casinos on it.
