At long last, it's ours. Deed will be recorded Monday and we get the keys. A few additional things need to be done after the walkthrough, and the second and final walkthrough is Wednesday. Moving day is Saturday, giving us enough time this week for the barbecue island, rear yard landscaping, shutters and a master walk-in closet that cost more than the first new car I bought (1970 Chevrolet Impala, $3400 plus tax and license).
Thanks to all who were supportive. To those who made fun of our pain, thanks for the humor, it helped a lot. Might as well laugh, because we're too old to cry.
