For those of you who are using my database I want to clarify something for you. When I list a strike as either CURR=CURRENT, RET=RETIRED, OBS=OBSOLETE. CURRENT means that strike is the current strike being placed as the NEW DESIGN in the machines. When that design is no longer the design that is being ordered from the mint it becomes retired. It may be in play for years becasue of rotating stock as strikes are returned, but that design can no longer be ordered from the mint. When a casino is no longer in existence...i.e....blown up, closed down, changed names, it becomes obsolete. Thank you and I hope this explananion is somewhat clearer than mud.
