For those who couldn't make it to the Convention this year, you missed out on what may have been the best Silver Strike Forum to date. Jeff Millar and Gary Bridges from IGT were our guests and, rather than make speeches, they opened the floor to questions.
And questions they got! They were very open with us and answered every question but one (and that involved proprietary IGT information that could not be released). Both were more than gracious and the information they shared was right on point and exactly what we Silver Strikers needed to hear. Sharon Pamperin recorded the questions and answers provided and you should see them in a future edition of the newsletter.
On top of that, IGT made a donation of a working Silver Strike slot machine to the CC and GTCC museum along with the plaster cast used by the engraver to make the die and laminated copies of the art work. To compliment that donation, the Silver Strikers Club donated the die used to strike the Las Vegas Centennial Club token, one of the Centennial tokens and the 5th Anniversary Club token from last year. Together they will make a very impressive display!
Many thanks to Jeff and Gary (and to IGT) for making this a great Convention!
