Gabbyt - I don't belive there is anything that says a casino has to put an approved strike in play at a certain time, or even go ahead with the minting of an approve strike. They are only requried to have the strike approved by the gaming board. There have been a couple of approved strikes that never appeared and then again there have been strikes that went into play before they were on the approved list. The Atlantis in Reno is a good case in point, they have had 6 new strikes approved for a couple of months but they aren't in play yet and the casino still has many racks of the old tired designs they are wanting to see go out the door before the new ones come in.
