Here’s a guy who doesn’t know anything about strikes yet he points out that the .999 is not on the rim. Why someone who doesn’t know anything about strike would point this out is beyond me.

In my opinion this guys knows what he has and is covering himself with his disclaimer that, “I ran across these and other strikes at a garage sale last week….”

Up for auction Is a Silver Strike from the MGM Grand Casino

Mint Mark Is GDC

I am told this is a hard to find collectors edition

Looks to be in mint condition

Has a Bust of Marilyn Monroe on the front

And the MGM Lion on the reverse with
.999 Fine silver Under the Lion
But not on the rim
