Given the size of the picture in the auction how can everybody be so sure it is a fake and not a new variety ? If the same people are sure its a fake why don't the contact Ebay today and tell the it is a fake, they will look at it and pull the auction if there is any dought ( has happened to me).
Anybody contacted the high bidder or all the bidders to tell them it might be a fake ? Will be interesting to see who jumps on it in the last few minutes, seems that when somebody says something is a fake etc. there are a bunch of bids at the end sometimes by the same people who were saying it was a fake, don't think in this case the ones who brought it to the message board will be biding.
Again how can we be sure its a fake and not a new variety. How many Boomtown Short Whip strikes do you think have been altered and sold ? I know it would be very easy for somebody who works with silver and knows alot about buffing.
