On 7-5-05 we were playing at the Palms at the Multi-Strike machine. We ran over $200 ($150 of it was our money) through the machine without a strike coming out. At the over $200 point we felt that the machine was malfunctioning and asked for the slot manager to check the machine. A slot technican checked the machine and stated that the machine was working just fine and that it was just going through a dry period. We have never played a machine (and believe me we've played a lot of strike machines over the past 10 years) that have gone that long with dispencing at least one strike. As anyone else experienced that long of a dry period on a strike machine? That was a terrible expenive spell that didn't produce a single strike. We love playing at the Palms, and found the lack of droppping strikes quite disturbing.
