Rick Ronca at the El Cortez advised that the new strikes (set of six plus two convention redcaps) are scheduled to go in to play on July 28. El Cortez has asked for a second machine.
Shawn Webster of the Four Queens told a strike club member that current plans call for their convention strikes to be placed in the machines on August 1. They are thinking of four redcaps per barrel, which is 4 out of 42, an even better ratio than the two per hopper of 50 in the old machines.
